Build Your Game

Build player paths, place items, and configure the world with visual creator tools.

Billboard

Use Billboard when an image needs a ready-made sign structure rather than a flat wall image. It works well for a directional sign, a large announcement, or a visible landmark in an open area.

Add a billboard

  1. Open Tools and choose Billboard.
  2. Pick a supplied sign structure or choose an image source first.
  3. Paste a direct image URL or upload the image.
  4. Place the sign and use transforms to set its position, height, and facing direction.
  5. Walk toward it from the intended approach path and check readability.

Make the sign do one job

Use a short message with strong contrast. A billboard is easier to read when it says one thing, such as “Arena”, “Start Here”, or an event title. Use a Portal or Text nearby when the player needs more instruction.

Test checklist

  • Does the image remain legible from the distance players first see it?
  • Is the sign facing the correct direction?
  • Does it leave room for players to walk around it?
  • Does the sign still make sense in the room's night state?
