Graphics & Audio Preferences
Graphics & Audio is a personal preference panel in the space menu. Its choices apply to your own device and persist for you; they do not change the room's Scene settings, music playlist, or another player's experience.
Open the space menu and choose Settings when you need a smoother experience, a different display target, or quieter sound.
Graphics
| Control | Choices | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| graphics quality | Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Very High, Ultra | Overall graphics-quality preset. |
| resolution setting | 720p, 1080p, 1440p, 1800p, 4K | Resolution target for the displayed game. |
| Rendering at WxH | Optional display | Shows the current effective rendering size. |
The resolution labels are target ceilings rather than a promise of a fixed output size. Browser-window size and device display behavior can affect the effective result.
Audio
| Control | Range | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| sound fx volume | 0–100 | Volume for sound effects. |
| scene sound | 0–100 | Volume for scene sound. |
| notifications volume | 0–100 | Volume for notifications. |
A useful performance check
- Start at the default Medium quality setting.
- Visit the busiest part of the space and move the camera through the most detailed area.
- Lower graphics quality one step at a time if the experience is not smooth enough.
- Adjust resolution setting only after choosing a quality level that is comfortable.
- Set audio sliders while Music & Room Audio and Voice & Comms are active, if the space uses them.
For lighting, skybox, fog, bloom, and render distance that affect the entire space, use Scene & Environment instead.
