Build Your Game

Build player paths, place items, and configure the world with visual creator tools.

Music & Room Audio

Use SettingsMusic to create the ordered music playlist for the whole space. It is different from sound attached to one placed item: everyone in the space uses the same chosen playlist settings.

Playlist controls

Control What it does
playlist Shows the current ordered tracks. You can reorder or remove entries.
add music Adds an available library track to the playlist.
upload mp3 Adds an MP3 file from your computer.
Play on enter Starts room music automatically for a player entering the space.
Shuffle Varies playback order instead of following the listed order.

The playlist prevents duplicate tracks, so use one clean entry per track rather than adding the same source repeatedly.

Create a first playlist

  1. Open Settings, then Music.
  2. Choose add music for an available track or upload mp3 for a file from your computer.
  3. Put tracks in the order you want when Shuffle is off.
  4. Turn on Play on enter only after the first track has been tested from the player spawn.
  5. Close and reopen Settings to confirm the list, order, and playback choices remain as intended.

Music versus placed media

  • Music is the room-wide ordered playlist.
  • A placed Video can have sound tied to its screen.
  • A placed Screenshare is for a live share session.

Choose room music for a consistent background. Use placed media when sound belongs at a specific location.

Keep the room comfortable

Music should support the activity, not compete with it. Start with a calm first track in a social space, and test it alongside Voice & Comms. For a game with a guided start, consider leaving Play on enter off until a player deliberately begins the experience.
