Build Your Game

Build player paths, place items, and configure the world with visual creator tools.

Image

Use an Image for a flat piece of artwork, a poster, a sign, or an animated image. It is a placeable screen-like object, so you can move, rotate, and scale it after adding it to the room.

Add an image

  1. Open Tools and choose Image.
  2. Paste a direct image URL, or upload an image from your computer.
  3. Select Save to hold the new image for placement.
  4. Point at a valid surface and click to place it.
  5. Select the placed image to adjust its frame and emission.

A direct image URL points to the image file itself. A link to a gallery page or social post usually will not work as a media source.

Placed-image settings

  • Frame adds or removes the surrounding frame.
  • Emission controls how much the image appears to glow in the scene.

Start with a low emission value. A bright image can look good in a dark corner but overpower nearby text or light sources.

Important note about transparent files

You can use an image that has a transparent background, but do not rely on a placement-time transparency choice to change how a new Image is spawned. Place the image and check it against the intended background before duplicating it.

Example: make a readable welcome sign

  1. Upload a high-contrast welcome image.
  2. Place it near the player spawn at eye height.
  3. Turn on a frame if the artwork needs separation from the wall.
  4. Add a small amount of emission only if the sign is hard to read at night.
  5. Walk in as a player and make sure it is visible before the first turn.

For a sign on a preset structure, use Billboard. For editable words rather than an image, use Text.
