Build Your Game

Build player paths, place items, and configure the world with visual creator tools.

Elemental

Use Elemental for a resizable surface with an animated material, such as water, lava, or an environmental effect. It is useful when a normal 3D Shape would look too static.

Add an elemental surface

  1. Open Tools and choose Elemental.
  2. Pick one of the supplied presets or provide a texture source.
  3. Place it in the scene.
  4. Scale and rotate it to fit the shoreline, pit, or decorative area.
  5. Test it from the player path and near the edge.

Design for clarity

Use a surface texture that tells the player what it is. A bright moving lava surface reads differently from calm water. If a surface is part of gameplay, add visible rails, signs, or a Trigger Cube so players understand its purpose before stepping into it.

Test checklist

  • Is the surface aligned with the surrounding ground or wall?
  • Does its scale look natural from the player camera?
  • Are the boundaries clear at day and night?
  • Does it support the route instead of hiding a jump or edge?
