Start Auto Run

What it does

Turns on auto-run for the local player.

Required item compatibility

Add it through a compatible item that shows this effect in its Tasks panel.

Setup

  1. Select the item that should perform this effect.
  2. Add Start Auto Run to the task state where it should run.
  3. Configure the settings below and test the player path from the task’s starting state.

No extra public settings.

Tiny example

A guided walkway task starts auto-run after the player enters the route.

Test and troubleshoot

  • Always provide Stop Auto Run or an exit state.
  • Test the route for obstacles before enabling automatic movement.
