Gun Stopped Aiming

What it does

Gun Stopped Aiming changes a task when a player stops aiming the selected gun.

Required item compatibility

Select a Gun. The trigger runs only when that gun is currently equipped.

Setup

  1. Select the gun and add Gun Stopped Aiming.
  2. Choose the task transition, often Active to Not Active.
  3. Add the effect that restores the normal presentation.

Settings

There are no extra public settings beyond the task transition.

Tiny example

Stopping aim changes Scope View from Active to Not Active and returns the camera to its normal zoom.

Test and troubleshoot

  • Test while the selected gun is equipped.
  • Pair it with Gun Started Aiming.
  • If the camera does not restore, confirm the restore effect is attached to Not Active.
