Play Video After Stopped

What it does

Play Video After Stopped starts the selected Video item again after it has been stopped. It belongs to a Video item, not an imported model or a web embed.

Required item compatibility

Select a placed Video item. Its Tasks panel shows this effect as Play Video After Stopped.

Setup

  1. Select the placed Video item.
  2. Add Play Video After Stopped to the task state that should play it.
  3. Use a separate state or trigger for the stop path.
  4. Test from a stopped screen.

Settings

Play Video After Stopped has no extra public settings.

Tiny example

Clicking a lobby screen changes Trailer to Active and starts the trailer after a prior state stopped it.

Test and troubleshoot

  • Use a direct, working MP4 on the placed Video item before testing the task.
  • Test the stop path first; this effect is intended to restart a stopped video.
  • Use Stop Video for the paired state.
